Do I need photography experience to use Vacant?
Not at all. The Vacant app is designed for your leasing staff, not professional photographers. Built-in level indicators, rule-of-thirds grid lines, and automatic wide-angle lens selection mean anyone on your team can take great shots. The app guides you room by room through every property.
How does the $0.95 per photo pricing work?
Every time your staff presses the shutter, that counts as one photo at $0.95. So a 15-room property where you take one shot per room costs $14.25 total. There are no monthly fees, no minimum orders, and no contracts — you only pay for what you shoot.
What does "24-hour turnaround" mean exactly?
From the moment you submit your photos, our editing team has them professionally edited and delivered back to you within 24 hours — including weekends. You'll receive a notification in the app when your photos are ready to download.
What kind of editing is included?
Every photo is professionally edited including HDR blending for balanced exposure, sky replacement where needed, brightness and color correction, and window pull to show the view outside. The result looks like a professional photographer was on site.
What phone do I need?
Vacant works on any modern iPhone or Android device. The app runs directly in Safari or Chrome — no download required. For best results we recommend an iPhone with a wide-angle (0.5×) lens, which is available on iPhone 11 and newer.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — your first listing is completely free. Shoot a property, submit it, and see the professionally edited results before you pay a cent. No credit card required to sign up.
Can multiple team members use the same account?
Each team member creates their own account so orders and photos are tracked individually. All orders across your team are billed to your company account. Team management features are on the roadmap for larger property management companies.
What if I'm not happy with the edited photos?
We'll re-edit any photos you're not satisfied with at no extra charge. Our goal is results that are listing-ready — if they're not, we make it right.
